Truth & Survival

Our History

A genocidal war started on October 1st, 2017, when the Cameroon military descended on peaceful protesters, killing unarmed civilians and injuring hundreds in the Southern Cameroons. Peaceful protesters were expressing frustration with the failed French-led government of La République du Cameroun (LRC). Unfortunately, the protests ended in tragedy with many killed and wounded.

Those injured often lacked access to medical care. Since then, the military has continued raiding homes, torturing and kidnapping civilians. Schools have been shut down or burned, homes destroyed, women and children attacked, and countless lives lost or disrupted.
